Speaking at the award ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Khanh Chi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union shared that this is not just a charity activity but also a continuation of the community mission of the banking industry - an industry that always aims for sustainable development and leaves no one behind.
In more than 30 years of construction and development, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union has continuously expanded social security activities, especially through its close coordination with the Vietnam Children's Support Fund. From supporting children affected by natural disasters, giving scholarships to poor and studious students, to building classrooms and learning equipment - the Vietnam Bank Trade Union always devotes all its heart to children and the future preschools of the country.
This year, in response to the urgent need from families with young children with serious diseases such as leukemia, bone marrow failure, Thalassemia, etc. to receive long-term treatment, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union has closely coordinated with the Institute's Board of Directors and specialized departments to select hospital support for 10 children with especially difficult circumstances who need prolonged treatment according to a specialized and cost-effective regimen.
Although the material value of the gift may not be great, we hope this will be a timely support, a sincere encouragement, so that the children have more opportunities for treatment and recovery, so that the families do not feel alone on this arduous journey - Ms. Nguyen Khanh Chi emphasized.
The program has contributed to spreading the spirit of kindness and social responsibility of the banking officials and employees to the community, especially on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Banking industry (6.5.1951 - 6.5.2025).
