Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stated: Vietnam's stance on China's ban on fishing in the East Sea is consistent and has been repeatedly affirmed.
"Vietnam requires China to respect Vietnam's sovereignty over Hoang Sa Archipelago as well as sovereignty, sovereignty and jurisdiction for the waters of Vietnam established in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Law on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) 1982; respect the rights of Vietnamese fishermen in lawful activities in the waters of Vietnam and the waters in addition to the national jurisdiction in accordance with the international law and the special law of 1982 Actions that complicate the situation, contribute to maintaining peace, stability and order at sea based on the law in the South China Sea " - the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokesman stated.
The spokesperson added: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has interacted with the Chinese Embassy in Hanoi and has also issued a document protesting the above fisheries ban."
Also in the press conference, answering the press of the press about China and Cambodia's recent exercise, Ms. Pham Thu Hang said: "We think that cooperation between countries needs to contribute positively to peace, stable and prosperous security of the region as well as in the world, in accordance with international practices and on the basis of international law and the basic principles of the United Nations Charter."
