In the period of 2023 - 2025, the VBSP Trade Union has promoted a good tradition, closely following the orientation of the Banking Trade Union and the leadership and direction of the VBSP Party Committee and the VBSP Executive Committee to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 5th VBSP Trade Union Congress, period 2023 - 2025; the activities of the VBSP Trade Union have achieved positive results.
Notably, 100% of the targets of the Resolution of the 5th Congress of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Trade Union have been fully implemented; in which, the target under the direct responsibility of the Trade Union organization reached 7/7, including 1 target exceeded. The target of the Union participating in coordinating and directing the implementation is 8/8, of which 1 target is exceeded.
Social security activities, support, care for, and improvement of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers have been given attention, through practical and meaningful programs and activities such as supporting funding to build gratitude houses, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor, policy beneficiaries, supporting people affected by natural disasters and floods, serving Vietnamese Heroic Mothers for the rest of their lives, visiting and giving gifts to encourage poor households, policy beneficiaries, families of meritorious people... on the occasion of the Lunar New Year and commemorating the annual War Invalids and Martyrs' Day; accompanying the program of the Couple of Love Lists...
The work of developing union members associated with improving the quality of grassroots union activities and participating in building a clean and strong party has received attention. In the period of 2023 - 2025, the number of newly developed union members is 684 people; 659 outstanding union members have been introduced to the Party, of which 547 union members have been admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The achieved results have contributed to consolidating and enhancing the position of the Trade Union organization, successfully implementing the Social Policy Development Strategy in each stage. By November 30, 2025, the total policy credit capital will reach over VND422 trillion, with an average annual growth rate of 12.2%.
Speaking at the Congress, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union Nguyen Khanh Chi, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the VBSP Trade Union in the 2023 - 2025 term.
The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union suggested that in the coming term, the VBSP Trade Union will continue to strengthen propaganda and political and ideological education; raise awareness among cadres, union members and workers about the Party's policies, the State's laws and policies, the political tasks of the banking sector and the VBSP, especially the new policies and resolutions of the Party, the VBSP Trade Union, and the VBSP Trade Union.
Continue to innovate the content and methods of Trade Union activities in a professional, flexible and effective manner; promote the role of Trade Union Executive Committees at all levels; pay attention to training and fostering skills and expertise for trade union staff, meeting the requirements in the new context, especially the requirements of digital transformation and communication. better care for the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, well implement the Grassroots Democracy Regulations, build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations. Promote the core role of the Trade Union organization in gathering and uniting workers; be a trust bridge between union members and Party committees, authorities, and profession.
At the Congress, delegates elected 21 comrades to the Executive Committee of the 6th VBSP Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030. Immediately after the Congress, the Executive Committee held the First Conference. Comrade Tran Duy Dong - Chairman of the V V V V NHCSXH Trade Union was elected to be re-elected as Chairman of the V NHCSXH Trade Union, term VI, 2025 - 2030.
