On the morning of July 26, An Khe Ward Trade Union organized a ceremony to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026) to review the glorious tradition and express gratitude for the contributions of officials and union members.
Mr. Hoang Bach Tung - Chairman of An Khe Ward Trade Union - said: "Up to now, the Ward Trade Union manages 64 grassroots trade unions with 3,000 union members. The work of developing union members and establishing new grassroots trade unions has been concerned and made efforts by the Executive Committee of the Ward Trade Union since the establishment of the Ward Trade Union, in the first 6 months of 2026, 21 grassroots trade unions have been established and 1,300 union members have been developed".
Besides organizational development, activities to care for material and spiritual life are always put first. Hundreds of Tet gifts in the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", health screening activities, first aid training for stroke, piloting 1,000 electronic labor contracts to promote digital transformation with VNPT, supporting 30 union members to borrow 900 million VND and the model of raising orphans until the end of 12th grade have clearly shown the organization's companion role.
Mr. Phan Tan Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of An Khe Ward - acknowledged and praised the outstanding achievements that the collective of officials and union members of the Ward Trade Union has achieved, making important contributions to the overall development of the locality.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee commended 26 typical grassroots trade union officials. At the same time, awarded decisions to establish 9 new business block grassroots trade unions; received a symbolic plaque of 100 gifts worth 83 million VND from Unilever Vietnam Company to support union members.
Towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), the Ward Trade Union presented gifts of gratitude to union members who are relatives of policy families and people with meritorious services. At the same time, hundreds of gifts were presented to support union members in difficult circumstances to rise up in life.
