News from Son Tra Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 26 said: to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, Son Tra Ward Trade Union organized a meeting to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union organization, and at the same time commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements and provide support to union members in difficult circumstances.
At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 97-year journey of construction and development of the Vietnam Trade Union - a large socio-political organization of the working class and laborers, always accompanying the revolutionary cause of the nation, constantly innovating to perform well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and laborers.
On this occasion, Son Tra Ward Trade Union commended 19 typical trade union officials who made many contributions to the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities.
These are dedicated and responsible officials who always promote the role of a bridge between the trade union organization and union members and workers, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
The Organizing Committee also awarded prizes to 3 collectives and 6 individuals who achieved outstanding achievements in the online contest to learn about the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union and the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 – 2031.
The contest attracted a large number of union members to participate, contributing to raising awareness about the glorious tradition of the Trade Union organization and major orientations in trade union activities in the coming time.
In order to promptly encourage and share with union members in difficult circumstances, Son Tra Ward Trade Union has provided support to 52 union members, with a total budget of 52 million VND from the ward trade union budget.
The activity shows the practical concern and care of the trade union organization, contributing to adding motivation for union members to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and feel secure in working and production.
Through meaningful activities on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, Son Tra Ward Trade Union continues to affirm its role as a reliable support for union members and workers; and at the same time create motivation for trade union officials to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, innovation, creativity, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
