News from Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on January 18 said: The Ward Trade Union organized a conference to summarize the Trade Union work in 2025 and deploy directions and tasks for 2026.
In 2025, Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union developed 10 new grassroots trade unions and admitted 225 union members.
Trade union levels promptly supported 225 union members affected by floods with a total budget of 450 million VND; presented 40 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances and 120 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children of union members with a total budget of 36 million VND.
In addition, the Ward Trade Union also mobilized 6 units to support 9 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
With the achieved results, Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union was assessed by the Da Nang City Labor Federation as excellently completing tasks in 2025; 27 affiliated grassroots trade unions achieved the title of excellently completing tasks.
In 2026, Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union implemented the activity theme: "Promoting innovation; taking union members and workers as subjects and effectiveness at the grassroots level as the center of innovation; concretizing and bringing the resolutions of the Party Congress, Fatherland Front and Trade Union into life".
In the period leading up to the Lunar New Year, the Ward Trade Union will continue to implement practical programs such as "Tet Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" and "Trade Union Bus", to take care of the material and spiritual life of workers.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Hoang Giang Yen Thuy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Cuong Ward, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Ward Trade Union in the past year.
Ms. Thuy requested the Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union to continue to maintain its achievements, proactively grasp public opinion, thoughts, and aspirations of workers to promptly care for and support them.
Ms. Hoang Giang Yen Thuy agreed with the direction and tasks for 2026 of Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union. At the same time, she requested the Ward Trade Union to focus on promoting propaganda and dissemination of Party resolutions into Trade Union activities in the coming time as set out.
