Previously, reporting at the conference summarizing the work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Hoa Khanh ward in 2025, representatives of the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union said that after implementing the arrangement of local authorities, the unit is currently under direct direction from the Da Nang City Labor Federation.
With a new position equivalent to a grassroots trade union, the Ward Trade Union is directly managing 65 grassroots trade unions with more than 3,000 union members and a network of 11 self-managed worker groups in boarding houses. 2025 is considered a pivotal year when the unit has completed and exceeded the assigned targets even though it has just converted its model since July 2025.
3 breakthroughs in the new year
Mr. Tra Thanh Quang - Chairman of Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union said: In 2026, to adapt to the large scale of management and the increasingly high requirements of reality, Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union identifies 3 key breakthrough tasks.
First, the solidarity front will be expanded through the establishment of grassroots trade unions. The unit identifies propaganda and mobilization as the key stage to gather workers.
Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union will proactively and widely reach out to non-state sector enterprises and free labor groups to propagate the Trade Union Law, promote the establishment of new grassroots trade unions, and implement the motto "where there are workers, there are trade union organizations".
Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union will take collective labor agreements (TULDTT) as the center, shifting from superficial activities to in-depth activities, considering TULDTT as the most important legal tool to protect union members.
Accordingly, the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union will focus on supporting grassroots trade unions in negotiating skills with business owners, in order to sign agreements with clauses that are more beneficial than the law on salaries, bonuses and welfare. The quality of collective labor agreements will be a measure of the organization's operational efficiency in the new period.
Finally, Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union promotes digital transformation. "Facing the pressure of data management of more than 3,000 union members, the Ward Trade Union determines that digital transformation is a mandatory task" - Mr. Tra Thanh Quang said.
According to Mr. Quang, 2026 will be the year the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union promotes the application of information technology in union member management, digitizes administrative procedures and deploys online interactive channels. This helps the information flow between the Ward Trade Union and workers to be smooth, fast and accurate.
