Effectively deploying social security resources
News from Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on February 1st said: Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union organizes the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" in 2026.
At the program, a Tet care package worth approximately 700 million VND, allocated by the Da Nang City Labor Federation, was handed over to hundreds of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the ward.
According to Mr. Tra Thanh Quang - Chairman of Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union, after 6 months of operating under the new model, Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union has affirmed its role as an effective "extended arm", receiving and effectively deploying social security resources from the upper level to the grassroots level.
Typically, the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" this year. Being trusted by the Da Nang City Labor Federation to allocate nearly 700 million VND of trade union financial resources to care for Tet, the Ward Trade Union determined that this is a great responsibility.
We have urgently reviewed and ensured that the funds are used transparently, in accordance with regulations and reach the right beneficiaries, implementing the motto of not letting any union member not have Tet that the Trade Union organization has set out" - Mr. Quang said.
From the allocated trade union financial resources, Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union has synchronously implemented many practical care activities, covering a wide range of target groups:
Regarding shopping support, the unit has issued 900 shopping vouchers at the Tet Market (worth 100 thousand VND/voucher) and 94 electronic shopping vouchers (worth 500 thousand VND/voucher), helping union members access modern shopping methods.
The work of visiting and giving gifts directly was emphasized with 270 gifts for union members in difficult circumstances and 60 gifts for workers in boarding houses (1 million VND each).
In particular, 20 female workers who are single mothers and grassroots trade union officials in difficult circumstances also received timely support at the rate of 1 million VND/person.
In addition, the program "Bringing Tet Home" continues to be a humane highlight. The Ward Trade Union has used funds to support bus and train tickets for 110 union members and families to return home safely for Tet through "Trade Union Buses" and "Trade Union Trains".
Innovation and creativity in movement activities
Not only caring about material things, Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union also created a vibrant spiritual playground for union members through the contest "Check-in with history - Proud of the Party flag" to celebrate the Party Congress and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
A new point in this year's organization is the strong application of digital transformation. All prizes of the contest will be announced and transferred directly to union members' bank accounts on February 3, 2026, creating joy and excitement at the beginning of the new year.
The success of the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Program in Hoa Khanh ward is clear evidence of the effectiveness of concentrated resource allocation from the Da Nang City Labor Federation.
