On April 28, Nam Dinh Ward Trade Union organized a ceremony to celebrate the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026); launched Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in 2026.
Closely following the theme of Workers' Month 2026 "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation, improving labor productivity" and the theme of Action Month on OSH "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of OSH work in the digital age", Nam Dinh Ward Trade Union has focused on caring for the interests of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers.
The Ward Trade Union effectively implemented the "May Dialogue" program and the forum "Trade Union members contribute opinions to build Vietnam Trade Unions in the new era", through negotiation, signing collective labor agreements, and dialogue. In addition, building and implementing grassroots democracy regulations; coordinating with functional agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of regimes, policies, and legal advice for workers; visiting and giving gifts to union members, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances, labor accidents, and occupational diseases.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation announced decisions to admit union members, establish new grassroots trade unions and award Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Labor Federation to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building strong trade union organizations in 2025; presented gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, labor accidents, and occupational diseases.
Also at the program, Nam Dinh Ward Trade Union coordinated with An Nhien Pharmaceutical Services Co., Ltd. to organize free medical examinations for 100% of delegates attending the program, showing concern and care, while strengthening solidarity and attachment between the trade union organization and officials, union members and employees.
