On August 21, Quy Nhon Ward Trade Union (Gia Lai province) announced that it has launched the "Digital Trade Union - One QR code, many utilities" model, aiming to create a simple, free, easy-to-use electronic information portal, helping union members and workers (UM, W) access Trade Union services just by scanning the QR code.
Through QR codes, union members and workers can look up information and policies related to workers; send opinions, recommendations, and reflections; register to participate in trade union programs and activities; update information on activities, welfare regimes and care programs.
The model is implemented at Ward Trade Unions and grassroots Trade Unions in the area. Union members and workers can use it on smartphones and computers with internet connection.
QR codes and model introduction boards are posted in convenient locations such as offices, halls, common living areas and Trade Union activity points, creating conditions for union members to easily access.
Ms. Nguyen Pham Thanh Hoang - Chairwoman of Quy Nhon Ward Trade Union - said that the application of digital technology aims to innovate the content and methods of Trade Union activities; improve the quality of care, representation, and protection of the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers. The model aims to build a database to serve management, statistics and administration.
The Chairman of the Trade Union of Quy Nhon Ward requested that the model must be built and operated in accordance with actual conditions and bring clear use efficiency. The implementation must be synchronous, unified, easy to use, and at the same time ensure information security and data confidentiality.
