In 2025, Son Tra Ward Trade Union focused on effectively performing the function of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The ward trade union proactively grasped the situation, coordinated to implement the Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots Level, organized the Workers' Conference reaching 60.2% of units; promoted negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements with 05 newly signed units, raising the rate of units with collective labor agreements to 55.7%.
Many welfare regimes have been improved, especially shift meals. Social security work has been effectively implemented: supporting union members in difficult circumstances, union members affected by natural disasters; organizing the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", "Trade Union Tet Journey" with a total budget of 550 million VND.
The ward trade union advised on legal issues for more than 150 union members; guiding the implementation of the new minimum wage policy.
In parallel, propaganda and patriotic emulation work has been promoted; successfully organized the Ward Trade Union Congress for the term 2025-2030; newly developed 812 union members, established 5 grassroots trade unions. Female workers' activities have been consolidated, practically caring for children of union members in difficult circumstances.
In 2026, the Ward Trade Union focuses on effectively implementing activities to continue to perform well the functions of the trade union organization.
On this occasion, the Da Nang City Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 3 individuals; Son Tra Ward People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in activities in 2025.
Also at the conference, the Son Tra Ward Trade Union presented 546 Tet gifts, worth 520 million VND, to union members in difficult circumstances in the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Party Gratitude 2026" Program.
