Yen Bai Ward Trade Union currently manages 1,580 female union members, accounting for 44.8% of the total number of union members. This is a large force, present in many agencies, units, and businesses in the area.
After the organizational structure is arranged according to the two-level local government model, the ward trade union determines that women's work needs to innovate both content and methods, creating an environment for female union members to exchange and promote their capacity and creativity.
One of the new points is strengthening the application of information technology and social networks in propaganda and organizing online playgrounds.
Typically, the photo contest "Charming Ao Dai for female union members and workers in Yen Bai ward in 2026" attracted more than 80 female union members from 17 agencies, units, and businesses to participate. The activity contributed to increasing the cohesion between grassroots trade unions after arrangement.
The movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" is also associated with "Good labor, Creative labor", digital transformation and building a safe working environment.
In 2025, the whole area had more than 50 topics and initiatives proposed for recognition; 32 individuals achieved the title of Emulation Soldier from the grassroots level. 95% of female union members registered and 90% achieved the title "Good at state affairs, good at housework" at the grassroots level.
To date, 23/23 grassroots trade unions that meet the conditions have established the Mass Women's Committee.
According to Ms. Thinh Thanh Hoa - Vice Chairwoman of Yen Bai Ward Trade Union, in the coming time, the unit will continue to take care of life, organize practical activities, improve the quality of women's work and create conditions for female union members to promote their capacity and contribute to agencies, units and localities.
