Responding to Workers' Month 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in entering a new era", in recent days, Trade Unions at all levels in the province have organized many practical and meaningful activities, demonstrating concern, care for the material and spiritual life, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

On May 22, the leader of the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor informed that the Binh Son District Federation of Labor had just organized the presentation of 115 gifts (500,000 VND/gift) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Also on this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented a savings book worth 10 million VND to the child of Ms. Tran Thi Thu Suong, a union member of the District Administrative Agency, a fatherless orphan.
In addition, the Trade Union of Provincial Party Agencies organized the presentation of 47 gifts (500,000 VND/gift) to union members in difficult circumstances. In particular, the Trade Union of Provincial Party Agencies visited and directly presented gifts (1 million VND/gift) to 2 union members with serious illnesses. The Trade Unions of the Provincial Party Agencies have also coordinated with the Provincial Federation of Labor's Professional Committee to organize propaganda and disseminate new points of the 2024 Law on Social Insurance to union members and workers.
The Quang Ngai City Labor Federation also organized the Workers' Day. Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Hien - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, attended and presented 100 gifts (1 million VND/gift) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
At the program, the City Labor Federation signed a program to coordinate with Thien Nhan Quang Ngai Hospital Joint Stock Company on health examination and consultation for workers. Accordingly, 220 union members and workers of affiliated grassroots unions will receive free health examinations and consultations, with a total support cost of nearly 200 million VND.
Sharing with reporters, Mr. Pham Thai Duong - Chairman of the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Zones Trade Union - said that from May 24 to May 25, the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Zones Trade Union of Quang Ngai province will coordinate with the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Zones of Quang Ngai province to organize the Workers' Day program with many activities such as free health check-ups for workers, organizing football matches...
At the same time, 517 gifts will be presented to union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND.
Although the gift is not large, it contains profound sharing, timely support for workers to overcome challenges and rise up at work.
