Responding to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025, the Dung Quat Economic Zone Trade Union and the province's industrial parks have organized many rich activities, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, attracting thousands of union members and workers to participate. From sports festivals, football tournaments, cultural exchanges, to skills competitions, tug of war, legal propaganda... all aim to create a healthy, connected playground and improve comprehensive capacity for workers.
These vibrant activities not only help workers raise their legal awareness and professional skills but also bring joy and cohesion after stressful working hours.
Sharing with reporters, Mr. Pham Thai Duong - Chairman of the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Zones Trade Union - emphasized: "Workers' Month is an important occasion for trade unions at all levels to demonstrate their responsibility, affection and attachment to workers. We not only care about material life but also care about spiritual needs, creating motivation for union members to continue to stick with and contribute long-term.
"On May 24, we will give 517 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND. Although the gift is not large, it contains profound sharing, timely support for workers to overcome challenges and improve their work" - Mr. Duong added.
According to the 2025 Workers' Month plan of the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor, strive to have at least 55% of grassroots trade unions in enterprises organize practical activities, and 35% of trade unions in the administrative and career sector have appropriate response activities. This is not only a target, but also a commitment to action from the trade union system to arouse a spirit of creativity and responsibility in each worker.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Hien - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, said that from all levels of trade unions to each factory and enterprise, activities have been implemented synchronously and practically. This will be an exciting Workers' Month, creating a strong influence and concern of the whole society, especially employers and authorities at all levels for jobs, workers' lives and problems. Thereby, workers have more motivation and inspiration to work creatively, making tireless efforts for the growth of businesses and the development of the country.
