On December 18, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that in 2025, in addition to promoting activities to care for the lives and spirits of union members and workers, the unit will focus on improving the quality of grassroots union activities.
Accordingly, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor organized 3 training courses on negotiation skills, signing collective labor agreements and occupational safety and hygiene for 100 grassroots union officials.
The training courses focus on equipping knowledge and practical skills, contributing to improving representative capacity, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers at enterprises.
In parallel with the work of training and fostering union officials, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor also implemented many practical care activities for union members and workers. Specifically, the unit has organized consultation, specialist examination and provided free medicine to 150 union members and workers, contributing to raising awareness of health care and disease prevention.
Notably, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor has presented 15 "Lovelearning Corner" to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances who have improved their education, with a total implementation cost of nearly 100 million VND. This activity not only supports the children's learning conditions but also shows the concern and support of the Trade Union organization for union members' families.
Through the above activities, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor continues to affirm its role as a representative, caregiver, and protector of the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; at the same time, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, meeting the requirements of the current period.
