On August 22, Mr. Le Van Minh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) - said that the EVNHCMC Trade Union had just had a working session with the Trade Union of Thuan An Power Company (PC Thuan An) to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers after the merger.
Thuan An Power Company currently has 338 officers and employees, 100% of whom are union members. As a newly established unit, the Trade Union of Thuan An Power Company is gradually perfecting the organizational structure, issuing operating regulations, and at the same time maintaining a stable movement of employees. Due to the nature of the merger, with a large workload, many new union officials are still confused in implementing their tasks.
At the meeting, workers and union officials of Thuan An Power Company hoped that EVNHCMC Trade Union would pay attention and organize professional training courses for grassroots union officials, enhance sports, cultural and artistic activities so that union members have more healthy playgrounds and expand exchanges between units.
Representatives of EVNHCMC Trade Union acknowledged the opinions of union members and workers and discussed and guided the Executive Committee of Thuan An Power Company Trade Union on methods of organizing activities, managing union members and trade union activities.
This is also an opportunity for EVNHCMC Trade Union to listen and accompany the grassroots, thereby promptly removing difficulties, improving the effectiveness of trade union activities, contributing to better caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
