On August 22, Area Management Working Group No. 9 under the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation held a conference to announce the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of 7 communes and wards in Binh Duong province. At the same time, the conference also included a meeting and professional training program for the team of union officials under the Area Management Working Group No. 9.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation chaired the conference. At the conference, officials in charge of work areas such as Organization - Inspection, Finance, Labor Relations - Legal Policy provided professional training for union officials, helping to improve their capacity and professional knowledge.
In particular, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoai An - Member of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Trade Union in 7 communes and wards under his management, including: Bau Bang commune, Tru Van Tho commune, Thoi Hoa ward, Tay Nam ward, Long Nguyen ward, Chanh Phu Hoa ward, Ben Cat ward.
It is known that the Area Management Working Group No. 9 is currently managing 15 commune and ward trade unions in the previous districts of Ben Cat, Bau Bang, Dau Tieng and Phu Giao of Binh Duong. This area has a total of 815 grassroots unions and more than 181,800 union members.
The main task of the Working Group is to guide commune and ward trade unions to establish and closely coordinate with Party committees, authorities and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards in orienting and implementing union activities and workers' movements in the areas.
All activities of commune and ward trade unions in the area will focus on improving the spiritual and material life of union members and developing the workers' movement, contributing to the overall development of Ho Chi Minh City.
