On August 7, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 5 visited and encouraged union members and workers at King style Garment Company Limited (Xuyen Moc Commune, Ho Chi Minh City).
During the meeting, Ms. Pham Thu Huong - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, in charge of the Area Management Working Group No. 5 - asked about the situation of trade union activities and organization in enterprises. At the same time, encourage businesses to try to overcome difficulties to develop production, do better in caring for union members and workers.
"Although there are still some difficulties and problems, trade unions at all levels still focus on the task of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. Hopefully, the company will continue to create a cradle, take care of the lives of workers, and also contribute to the development of the business", Ms. Huong said.
The company representative also thanked the Trade Union for its concern for the enterprise and the workers at work; will strive to overcome difficulties to develop and better care for union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 5 organized a gift-giving ceremony to support and encourage 10 female workers in difficult circumstances. These are cases of female workers who are single mothers living at a rented house raising young children; female workers with serious illnesses being treated... Thereby, encouraging female workers to try to overcome difficulties and rise up in life.
Mr. Tran Van Tu - Chairman of the King style Trade Union - said that recently, the enterprise has also encountered some difficulties in production and business activities, when transferring back from foreign investment capital in the past. However, the enterprise has tried not to let the situation of unpaid wages to workers happen.
"In response to the concerns of union members and workers, the Board of Directors of the company has organized a meeting and committed to ensuring full benefits for union members and workers in August 2025," Mr. Tu informed.
