Unions are no match for businesses
Previously, at the forum "Connecting Enterprises - 2024" organized by Lao Dong Newspaper in collaboration with the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park & Industrial Parks, Da Nang City Labor Federation on October 9, Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Ha, Vice President of Da Nang City Labor Federation, shared very sincerely with the business community of Da Nang City.

Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Ha said that currently, the Da Nang City Labor Federation is managing 1,800 grassroots unions with more than 120,000 union members in all different industries. According to Ms. Ha, one of the main activities of the Trade Union is to take care of and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
However, another major activity, equally important as care, is to accompany businesses to launch emulation movements, mobilize workers to share difficulties with businesses, comply with regulations and policies, etc. to ensure harmonious labor relations. At the same time, when businesses are doing well, the Trade Union will also support workers to negotiate to improve policies in the Collective Labor Agreement.
“The Trade Union always accompanies businesses, not opposes or confronts them. We are committed to always proactively taking care of and mobilizing workers to comply with the policies of the business and the laws of the State. And conversely, we hope that businesses will accompany the Trade Union, trust each other to maintain stable and harmonious labor relations as well as the investment environment,” said Ms. Ha.
