After implementing the two-level local government model from July 1, 2025, associated with the implementation of the merger of the Trade Unions of Dak Lak and Phu Yen provinces, trade union activities in Dak Lak province have had many positive changes. In the context of many economic and employment difficulties, trade union levels still promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

Clear imprints after the merger

2025 marks an important turning point in trade union organization and activities. After arrangement, the number of union members and grassroots trade unions has fluctuated due to adjustments in location and organization. However, with a proactive and flexible spirit, the whole province has quickly stabilized with 679 grassroots trade unions, gathering 70,139 workers, civil servants, and laborers.

This model has initially been effective, helping the Trade Union organization become closer to workers, promptly grasping and supporting difficult cases.

This funding is focused on activities such as supporting "Trade Union Homes", visiting union members in difficult circumstances, providing emergency allowances, organizing "Workers' Month", "Tet Reunion" and many other practical welfare programs. Thereby, contributing to improving material and spiritual life and consolidating workers' trust in the Trade Union organization.
