According to Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of TKV Trade Union, for TKV Trade Union, 30 years of construction and growth have been 30 years of keeping the fire of faith for miners, 30 years of accompanying the development of TKV and writing the deep imprints of an action-oriented, brave, and humane industry trade union; always accompanying workers, listening to the smallest things, sharing in the most difficult moments; is a bridge connecting the will and belief of tens of thousands of miner hearts; accompanying workers to create the strength and position of TKV today.
One of the outstanding activities of the TKV Trade Union is launching patriotic emulation movements. These movements not only create a vibrant labor and production atmosphere but also become a driving force for the development of the entire industry.
In addition, the work of caring for life has touched every worker's heart. The "Miner Tet" program has been implemented since 2020 with the motto: "All TKV workers have Tet" has brought warmth to tens of thousands of families, becoming a unique brand of TKV every Tet and spring. Not only caring for life, the Trade Union also always accompanies and protects the legitimate rights and interests of workers, building harmonious labor relations, promoting democracy at the grassroots level so that workers can truly feel secure and attached to the profession, to the mining area, to the unit and the Group.
With those efforts, the Trade Union and the collective of trade union officials and employees throughout the industry were awarded the Third-class Labor Medal in 2002, the Second-class Labor Medal in 2006 and the First-class Labor Medal in 2011 by the President.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its establishment, TKV Trade Union was honored to be awarded the Third-class Labor Medal for the 2nd time by the President.
Commemorating the 30th anniversary of its establishment, the TKV Trade Union organized a commendation ceremony for 90 typical faces representing more than 93,000 employees throughout the Group.
The 90 faces honored today are trade union officials, management officials and workers with outstanding achievements, advanced examples, role models in production and work, saying and doing, with proposals, initiatives, and innovative and effective solutions in labor production; with good working style and organizational discipline.
Speaking at the ceremony, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Anh Tuan requested TKV Trade Union levels to continue to promote the glorious tradition of the heroic mining class, the tradition of discipline and consensus, and focus on performing well some key tasks.
In which, continue to better care for the material, spiritual and working conditions of workers. All trade union activities must be oriented towards the grassroots level, taking workers as the center. Pay more attention to direct workers in mines, difficult, heavy, and hazardous working places; care for workers' housing, cultural institutions, living conditions, health care, improve the quality of meals, organize cultural and sports activities, and improve the spiritual life of workers...
