Trade Union supervises training and fostering for more than 76,000 workers
The 4th Congress, term 2025 - 2030, of the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) Trade Union was held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 27. Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung attended and awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the ACV Trade Union.
The ACV Trade Union report said that the number of union members under management is 15,276/15,508 workers (accounting for 98.5%). In the period of 2023 - 2025, ACV Trade Union has proactively coordinated closely with the authorities at the same level to ensure stable jobs, increasingly improved income, and at the same time fully and promptly implemented the regimes and policies of the State and the unit for employees.
Training, fostering, and improving professional qualifications and skills for civil servants and employees are regularly implemented, associated with the requirements of production and business tasks and standardizing human resources towards modernity and professionalism.
ACV Trade Union has supervised the organization of more than 4,000 domestic and foreign training and fostering classes for more than 76,000 employees with a total cost of over 61 billion VND. This is an important resource to help employees improve their qualifications, master modern technology and meet the requirements of international integration. The average income of employees in the entire corporation has continuously improved, reaching 26.8 million VND/person/month in 2023, and increasing to 30.5 million VND/person/month in 2024...
Developing at least 3,000 union members
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union - praised the achievements of the ACV Trade Union.
Mr. Phuong suggested that ACV Trade Union continue to promote efficiency, closely follow and accompany the profession to complete the political, production and business tasks of the enterprise.
At the same time, proactively perform the functions of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees; well implement grassroots democracy regulations, build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises; increase training, improve qualifications and capacity for trade union cadres to meet the requirements of the new period...

The Congress also set out a number of key tasks in the 2025-2030 period such as: Developing at least 3,000 union members; Developing at least one affiliated union; 100% of enterprises and units with trade union organizations that are qualified to represent, negotiate, and sign collective labor agreements according to the provisions of law; 100% of state-owned trade unions and 90% of non-state-owned trade unions participate with employers in promulgating and implementing grassroots democracy regulations; 100% of union members who need to be consulted and argue about legitimate and legal rights and interests will have union representatives participating or being supported by the union.

At the same time, 100% of state-owned trade unions and 80% or more of non-state trade unions have completed their tasks well; On average, each trade union will introduce at least 4 outstanding union members for the Party to consider, train and admit annually; improve the English proficiency and proficiency of trade union officials, by the end of the term, 90% of trade union officials will have foreign language proficiency equivalent to TOE 450 or higher or a bachelor's degree in English...
