Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao - Vice Chairman of the Binh Chanh District Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh City - informed that during the Workers' Month 2025, the Binh Chanh District Labor Federation held a meeting to give gifts to 97 workers who had work-related accidents with a total amount of care of 130.5 million VND, of which 97 gifts with a total value of 24.5 million VND were promoted by the District Labor Federation.

The Binh Chanh District Labor Federation also strongly mobilized donors and specialized staff of the agency to voluntarily contribute funds to give a savings book worth 10 million VND to a worker who was involved in a work accident and had a serious illness and a traffic accident.

The district's grassroots unions have coordinated with the Labor Union to organize the program "Thank you to workers" to care for 3,628 workers with a total amount of nearly 1.6 billion VND. The Binh Chanh District Labor Federation proposed that the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation consider supporting the care of 1,195 union members and workers under the program "A million gifts - Thank you to workers", with a total cost of nearly 1.2 billion VND.

In addition, the Binh Chanh District Labor Federation also presented 1,533 gifts to care for workers at enterprises that have not yet established grassroots unions, but enterprises that have paid union fees with an amount of more than 1 billion VND.

According to Mr. Bao, caring for workers during Workers' Month aims to create cohesion and coordination between workers' compensation and the Trade Union organization. At the same time, going to businesses to give gifts will help full-time staff have the opportunity to interact with workers to exchange information, encourage them to participate in trade union organizations and establish grassroots trade unions, contributing to the implementation of the target of developing union members in 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Binh Tan District Labor Federation - shared that through the Workers' Month activities, Binh Tan District Labor Federation has cared for and presented nearly 30,000 gifts to union members and workers with serious illnesses and in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 11.6 billion VND, coordinating with the Trade Union of Pouyuen Vietnam Co., Ltd. to donate 2 Trade Union Shelters (worth 50 million VND/house) to union members with housing difficulties.

Binh Tan District Labor Federation also coordinated with 31 partners to sign the program "Welfare for union members and workers" to help more than 60,000 union members and workers use products and services at prices 5% - 30% lower than the market, helping workers save nearly 1.3 billion VND.
