On the afternoon of July 23, Working Group No. 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a working delegation to visit and present gifts in gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City.
In which, the delegation visited and cordially inquired about the Mothers: Bui Thi Day (born in 1937, residing in Ba Ria ward); Tran Thi Duong (born in 1929), Tran Thi Luong (born in 1933), Tran Thi Trinh (born in 1927) all residing in Tam Long ward.
Previously, the working delegation also visited and presented gifts to 4 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in other communes in the eastern region of Ho Chi Minh City.
At the destinations, Mr. Nguyen Trung Ngan - Head of Working Group No. 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - cordially inquired about health and life; expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the Mothers and their families for the cause of fighting for national independence and freedom. At the same time, he presented gifts from the Trade Union organization, wishing the Mothers to always be healthy and happy, to be a spiritual support, and continue to encourage and educate future generations to promote revolutionary traditions.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, in the activities "Gratitude", "When drinking water, remember the source" organized on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), it has planned to organize working delegations to visit and express gratitude to 64 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; offer incense to 3 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and visit families.
At the same time, organize activities to offer incense and light candles in gratitude to heroic martyrs; coordinate to participate in cleaning, renovating, and repairing campuses, flower gardens, green trees and memorial works in Ho Chi Minh City.
