Tran Yen Trade Union strives for 80% of enterprises to sign collective labor agreements

    Lao Cai - Tran Yen Commune Trade Union has just held its first Congress, term 2025-2030.

    Tran Yen Commune Trade Union currently has nearly 1,300 union members operating at 24 grassroots unions.

    Over the past term, trade unions at all levels have proactively cared for and protected the legitimate and legal rights of union members; supported over 9.5 tons of relief goods, more than 1 billion VND for workers affected by natural disasters; developed 9 new grassroots trade unions, 475 union members; 177 initiatives were recognized and effectively applied in practice.

    The Congress set a goal of innovating the content and methods of operation associated with digital transformation; better caring for union members' lives, building strong commune unions.

    Strive to develop 200 more union members, 100% of union officials are trained in their professional skills and digital transformation, 80% of enterprises sign collective labor agreements and support the construction of at least 5 new "Union Shelters".

    At the Congress, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of Tran Yen Commune Trade Union, term I, consisting of 11 members and delegates to attend the higher-level Congress.

    Mr. Vi Viet Trung was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Tran Yen Commune Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
