On the afternoon of May 28, at An Phat Investment JSC (Tam Quan Industrial Cluster, Tam Quan ward, Gia Lai province), Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan visited and presented gifts to union members and workers (ĐV, NLĐ) on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026.

Reporting at the program, Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Quan Ward, Chairman of the Tam Quan Ward Trade Union - said that the unit is currently managing 24 grassroots trade unions belonging to businesses, schools, administrative and non-business units and 2 fishing trade unions, with a total of 5,304 members.
In Workers' Month 2026, the lives and jobs of workers are basically stable, but there is still a part facing difficulties, low incomes, and high work pressure. Faced with that reality, the Ward Trade Union has implemented many practical activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

Tam Quan Ward Trade Union organized the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2026 with the theme "Gia Lai Workers: Innovation, improving labor productivity"; presented 10 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Labor Federation to 1 collective and 1 individual with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and Trade Union activities in 2025, associated with responding to the Action Month on occupational safety and health...
At the program, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan presented 100 gifts to 100 union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at businesses in the area under the management of Tam Quan and Hoai Nhon Nam wards. Each gift included 1 million VND in cash and 1 gift bag attached.

At the program, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan, on behalf of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, visited and inquired about life, labor, production and sent health wishes to all union members and workers of the province. Mr. Xuan said that although the gifts are not of great value, they show the deep concern of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour affirmed that the Trade Union organization always accompanies and protects the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of employees; and proactively advises, proposes, and coordinates with levels, sectors, and businesses to better care for the lives, jobs, and incomes of employees.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan wished union members and workers to continue to promote the spirit of creativity, enthusiastic labor, attachment to businesses, and make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Sharing at the program, Mr. Tran Thanh Thong (born 1997, residing in Phu My Bac commune), a worker at IPP Sachi Joint Stock Company, said that after precarious sea trips, he decided to switch to working as a worker to have a stable income to raise three young children.

This is the first time I have received a gift from the Trade Union organization, I am very happy and touched. This amount of money helps me take care of many things for my children, I would like to thank you for this practical concern," Mr. Thong shared.
