On November 26, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor in coordination with the Ba Ria City Federation of Labor organized a visit, encouraged, and presented gifts to support union members and workers who lost their jobs due to difficulties in production and business activities of enterprises, forcing them to stop operations.
Thereby, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Ba Ria City Federation of Labor visited and encouraged 129 workers at the Vega Fashion Company Limited Branch (factory in Ba Ria City) when there was information that the enterprise would cease operations; at the same time, grasped the thoughts and aspirations of workers when they lost their jobs right near the Lunar New Year 2025.
The leaders of Vega Fashion Company Limited also acknowledged and thanked the contributions of union members and employees who have accompanied and shared with the company in the past time. However, due to difficulties in production and business activities, the company was forced to stop operating the factory in Ba Ria City.
Before officially ceasing operations, the company closed its social insurance books and decided to terminate the labor contracts of all workers in the factory, and proceeded to hand over the social insurance books to the employees. The company also paid the 13th month salary, a support amount for employees when they terminated their employment.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also organized the awarding of 129 gifts to support workers who lost their jobs, each gift worth 1.5 million VND. Thereby contributing to helping workers stabilize their lives, hoping that workers will soon find suitable jobs in the near future.
