Comprehensive care, strongly directed towards workers
Mr. Luu Duc Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd. (UACV) said: As a foreign-invested enterprise operating in the field of manufacturing aerospace components in Da Nang High-Tech Park, UACV currently has 1,311 employees, of which 1,287 are trade union members, reaching a gathering rate of over 99%.
Right from the beginning of the year, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union has developed a plan to implement Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 with many practical contents, closely following the actual needs of workers.
During Workers' Month, the Trade Union allocated a total budget of more than 134 million VND to organize activities to support, care for and give gifts to union members. In particular, many cases of workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses or having children with serious illnesses were visited and supported promptly.
Not only caring about material life, the Trade Union also focuses on improving the spiritual life of workers through cultural and sports activities.
The "UACV Trade Union Cup 2026" football tournament is considered one of the largest scale playgrounds ever in enterprises, gathering 14 teams with more than 200 athletes who are union members and workers participating. The matches took place sôi nổi, attracting a large number of workers to cheer, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and cohesion between departments throughout the company.
We always determine that all activities must originate from the actual needs of workers. When workers are cared for, cared for and facilitated to develop, they will be assured to work and be attached to the business for a long time. That is also an important foundation for building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations," Mr. Luu Duc Hung shared.
Arousing creativity, building a safe working environment
In addition to care work, UACV Trade Union also focuses on launching creative labor emulation movements to promote the intelligence and skills of technical workers.
In 2026, the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement recorded 2 major technical innovation initiatives recognized and put into application in production. These initiatives help solve many technical problems on the production line, bringing value and profit to businesses of more than 12 billion VND per year.
This result not only contributes to improving labor productivity and reducing production costs, but also affirms the creative capacity of Vietnamese workers in the field of high-tech industry.
In parallel with the creative emulation movement, the work of ensuring labor safety and hygiene is also of particular concern to the Trade Union.
In the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, the Trade Union coordinated with specialized departments to organize many inspections in high-risk production areas, maintaining the operational efficiency of the network of 24 occupational safety and health workers at workshops.
Propaganda and guidance on identifying risks of labor unsafety are carried out regularly, contributing to raising workers' awareness of self-protection.
With outstanding results in caring for and protecting workers' rights, launching creative emulation movements, building a safe working environment and innovating trade union operating methods, the grassroots trade union of Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd. has been recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with a Certificate of Merit.
This is not only a worthy reward for the efforts of the grassroots trade union collective, but also a motivation for the unit to continue to innovate, improve the quality of operations, and accompany employees and businesses in the next development journey.
