Combining tradition with modern technology
In Vinh Long province, in the period of 2023 - 2025, the "Workers' Month" activity has created a strong influence, and has been actively responded to by union members and workers. Activities such as: Launching ceremony, organizing meetings and dialogues between provincial leaders and workers, Forum "Workers for businesses - Enterprises for workers", Program "Thank you to workers", "Union Meal" ... received much attention and had a strong reputation in society.
To achieve the above results, especially in the context of strong digital transformation, Vinh Long Trade Union has effectively applied many forms of communication combining tradition with modern technology.
Accordingly, competitions, games shows, promoting the effectiveness of propaganda on popular social networking platforms ( Facebook, Youtube, Tiktok), building modern communication products such as: infographics, video clips... contributing to spreading the image of the trade union organization; coordinating with the Department of Information and Communications to organize online competitions, designing video clips to propagate digital transformation; coordinate training on applying artificial intelligence (AI) to trade union activities;...

Proactiveness with the inevitable trend
According to the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, in the period of 2025-2030, with the rapid development of science, technology, and the knowledge economy, it will be both a challenge and a driving force for union officials and union and labor forces.
The Provincial Federation of Labor determined that to improve trade union communication, it is necessary to continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of propaganda. This requires close coordination with departments, branches and socio-political organizations to fully implement the Party's directives and resolutions, and legal policies of the State and localities; associated with propaganda work on socio-economic situation, national defense and security.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - said that a series of tasks and solutions are being built to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in propaganda work; promote the effectiveness of using social networks such as Zalo, Facebook and electronic information tools. This will bring the highest efficiency in communication work, helping to inform union members, workers and civil servants quickly, promptly and accurately.
Along with that is the requirement to improve the capacity to master technology and skills for the team of cadres, union members, and employees; promote digital transformation, "Digital Trade Union" in union activities, build a platform for managing electronic union members, etc.
At the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030 on December 16, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also suggested the issue of innovating propaganda methods for Vinh Long Trade Union to immediately get to work.
The Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that through digitalization, it is possible to connect and use communication documents in cyberspace, digital platforms according to the principles of "fastness", "shortness" and "deepness", "deepness" so that workers can easily access and understand correctly. Thereby improving the educational and persuasiveness of propaganda about trade union organization and activities.
