On December 16, the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, took place at the Provincial Conference Center. The congress was attended by 298/300 official delegates representing more than 169,000 union members in Vinh Long province.
This is a very important congress, considered a big festival for union members in the whole province, and at the same time marks a fundamental transformation in the organizational model of the Trade Union apparatus, in line with the development requirements of the new period.
The Congress announced the decision of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on appointing the Executive Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union, term I, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 31 people, a Standing Committee of 12 people, and an Inspection Committee of 11 people.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation for the 2023 - 2028 term was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The Vice Presidents of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2025-2030 term include: Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi, Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh.
Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi, Vice Chairman, was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee.
At the same time, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also appointed the Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Delegation to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, including 13 official delegates and 2 absent delegates.
