Reviewing the 97-year journey of the Trade Union organization
News from Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 25 said: Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union organizes a meeting program to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Attending were leaders of the Da Nang City Labor Federation; former leaders of Duy Xuyen district, former leaders of the Duy Xuyen district Labor Federation (old) through various periods; local leaders; representatives of enterprises with trade union organizations and a large number of trade union officials, union members, and workers in the area.
At the program, delegates reviewed the 97-year journey of construction and development of the Vietnam Trade Union - an organization that always accompanies the working class and laborers, constantly innovating to well perform the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and laborers.
At the same time, the program also reviews a year of activities of Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union with many positive results in organizational development, taking care of union members' lives and building harmonious and stable labor relations.
On this occasion, the Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union expressed its gratitude to the former leaders of Duy Xuyen district, former leaders of the District Labor Federation through various periods, recognizing important contributions to the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and the development of the local Trade Union organization.
With the motto of putting union members and workers at the center, the Commune Trade Union has presented 62 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to grassroots trade union officials and union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The gifts show the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization, contributing to encouraging union members to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and feel secure in working and working.
Supporting children of union members in difficult circumstances
The highlight of the program is the symbolic plaque awarding ceremony recognizing Gia Phu Co., Ltd.'s participation in sponsoring children of union members in difficult circumstances; and at the same time expressing gratitude to businesses, units and grassroots trade unions that have accompanied the program "Raising Steps for Children to School".
After a period of launching, the program has received the response of 10 businesses, units and grassroots trade unions, sponsoring 21 students who are children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total support budget of 126 million VND per year.
The gathering program is not only an opportunity to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union and express gratitude to previous generations of trade union officials, but also to continue to spread the spirit of solidarity, compassion, and responsibility in the business community and union members.
Through this, the Duy Xuyen Commune Trade Union affirmed its determination to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, strongly focus on grassroots levels, improve the quality of care, protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
