Tuyen Quang - In the afternoon of July 25, the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province organized a ceremony to see off the remains of martyrs to be buried at Vi Xuyen National Martyrs' Cemetery.

In this gathering, the forces on duty found 16 sets of martyrs' remains and 4 mass graves (identified as about 18 martyrs) at high points A6a, 685 in Thanh Thuy and Minh Tan communes.

These are areas where many fierce battles took place in the fight to protect the northern border in the period 1984 - 1989.

Among them, one set of remains of a martyr who sacrificed in the resistance war against the French colonialists was found in Ban May commune.
