Over the past term, the Mau A Commune Trade Union has innovated its content and methods of operation, affirming its role as a reliable support for workers. The programs "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", "Union Shelter" have made an impression and spread strongly, supporting more than 2,600 union members with a total amount of over 800 million VND.
Propaganda and political education work has been innovated in many forms, attracting over 90% of workers, civil servants and laborers to participate in studying.
Emulation movements such as "Good workers, creative workers", "Good at public affairs - Good at housework", "Green - Clean - Beautiful", "Work safety", "Digital transformation" have aroused the spirit of attachment of workers to the trade union organization.
Cultural, artistic and sports activities are organized regularly and widely; women's work is of interest, 100% of units have women's committees, organize many activities to care for women's lives, and enhance the role of women in the new era.
From 2023 to present, the Commune Trade Union has established 8 grassroots trade unions, 2 trade unions, developed 373 new union members, and introduced 223 outstanding union members to the Party.
With the motto of action "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress agreed on 14 specific targets and 3 breakthroughs for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Accordingly, Mau A Commune Trade Union strives to develop at least 350 union members, each grassroots union introducing at least 1 outstanding union member to the Party for annual admission; each grassroots union has at least 1 initiative recognized and applied; by 2030, the Commune Trade Union will deploy online guidance and handling of procedures, policy review; 100% of full-time union officials, 90% of non-professional officials use digital technology platforms...
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Permanent Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation - suggested that the Commune Labor Union continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in accordance with the two-level government model; promote patriotic emulation movements, better care for and protect the rights of workers; build a strong trade union organization.
The Congress announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee; Standing Committee and key positions of the Mau A Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025 - 2030; appointed a delegation to attend the Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Mr. Doan Khanh Van was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Mau A Commune Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030.
