More than 4 billion VND to care for workers
News from Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on January 17 said: Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union organized a conference to summarize Trade Union activities in 2025, deploying key tasks for 2026.
In 2025, in the new conditions after organizational arrangement, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union has gradually stabilized the apparatus, successfully organized the 1st Commune Trade Union Congress, and maintained the operating order of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee.
Grassroots Trade Unions proactively implemented the movement, many effective models and ways of working appeared; the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers was implemented throughout.
Through coordination and mobilization of resources from the City Labor Federation, commune trade union finance, grassroots trade union, along with the companionship of businesses and socialization, the Commune Trade Union has implemented activities to care for union members and workers with a total budget of over 4 billion VND.
The content focuses on supporting the overcoming of consequences after floods, giving livelihoods, visiting cases of health decline, implementing union member welfare, organizing health check-ups, supporting union members in difficult circumstances and children of union members in special circumstances.
Regarding the tasks for 2026, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union identifies the focus as continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation; developing 1,500 union members, concentrated at the grassroots Trade Union of Huy Hoang Garment Co., Ltd., businesses in the area and Hoi An area; establishing 5-7 new grassroots trade unions; improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities, building a strong Trade Union organization.
Tet care festival
Previously, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union launched the "Tet Care Day" and the "Trade Union Member and Employee Welfare Day" in 2026.
With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union focuses on practical and targeted care; prioritizing union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, labor accidents; workers in units outside the state sector and units without trade union organizations.
For the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Program in 2026, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union is implementing with a total resource of 450 million VND, from the city Labor Federation's support and socialization mobilization.
It is expected that the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union will present 300 Tet gifts, each worth 1 million VND; organize a lucky draw program with a total value of 50 million VND and issue 1,000 "Trade Union Tet booths without coins", each worth 100,000 VND, providing essential necessities and OCOP products for union members and workers.
In particular, the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program in 2026 received the attention, companionship and active support of Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Materials Co., Ltd., My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board, OCOP entities and 12 affiliated grassroots trade unions, joining hands with Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union to effectively organize Tet care activities for union members and workers.
With the "Journey for the Welfare of Union Members and Workers" in 2026, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union has connected and mobilized socialized resources with a total welfare value of over 1.2 billion VND.
In which, the union member health care program is implemented with a total budget of 545.5 million VND, through consulting, examination and health screening activities for workers, supported by My Son General Clinic Co., Ltd. 360.5 million VND and Tam Tri Quang Nam Hospital 135 million VND.
Through the above activities, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union continues to affirm its role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, contributing to the effective implementation of breakthrough tasks of the Da Nang City Trade Union organization in 2026.
