The Vietnam Health Trade Union issued Instruction No. 07/HD-CDYT dated July 7, 2025 guiding grassroots trade unions to organize union meals in 2025, and at the same time spending 895,750,000 VND from the financial resources of the Vietnam Health Trade Union for 17,915 union members and workers at 35 affiliated grassroots trade unions (the meal support level is 50,000 VND/person).
The Vietnam Health Trade Union has issued support decisions for union members and workers who have died and encountered difficulties from union financial resources with a total budget of VND 885,000,000.
Of which, 10,000,000 VND will be provided to the family of a union member who was nursed at Bach Mai Hospital, her husband and children on a tourist boat in the Green Bay 58 capsized in Ha Long Bay due to a storm; support 2 union members participating in the Sports Festival to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 13th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the health sector who were injured (support level of 2,000,000 VND/Union member); support 2,000,000 VND for the family of a union official who suddenly died while on a business trip and support 869,000,000 VND for 432 union members of 40 grassroots unions who had work accidents, occupational diseases, or serious illnesses (support level from 2,000,000 - 3,000,000 VND/Union member).
In the third quarter of 2025, the Vietnam Health Trade Union signed a cooperation agreement with Elmich Joint Stock Company, Zaha Joint Stock Company, Dr DFIT Medical Technology Joint Stock Company, TAPUHO Vietnam Company Limited, and at the same time implemented union member welfare programs signed with union members.
In addition, trade unions at all levels have proactively grasped the living and employment situation of union members and workers, coordinated with competent authorities to promptly resolve policies and regimes, and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
