On September 15, the Vietnam Health Trade Union issued a decision on the arrangement and consolidation of the organizational structure and staffing of the Vietnam Health Trade Union Agency.
According to the decision, the organizational structure of the Vietnam Health Trade Union Agency is arranged to include 2 departments with 20 full-time positions (excluding labor contracts). Specifically: Standing Committee of the Standing Committee: 3 positions (Chairman, 2 Vice Chairmen); Trade Union Work Committee: 8 positions and 2 labor contracts (Head of the Committee, 1 Deputy Head, 6 specialists and 2 positions under labor contracts); Labor Relations Committee (9 positions include Head of the Committee, 1 Deputy Head, 7 specialists).
Funcils and tasks of the Vietnam Health Trade Union: Implemented according to Decision No. 1299/QD-TLD dated September 9, 2020 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor regulating the functions, tasks, organization, and staffing of central industry trade unions and equivalent, general corporation trade unions under the General Confederation.
The Decision clearly states that the Labor Relations Department coordinates with the Trade Union Working Committee to advise the Standing Committee of the Standing Committee to issue regulations on the functions and tasks of the Trade Union Working Committee and the Labor Relations Department under the Vietnam Health Trade Union Agency; implement the arrangement of organizational structure and job positions according to the approved Project.
In the coming time, trade unions at all levels in the health sector will continue to promote their role as representatives, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, especially in the context of the sector restructuring and streamlining the apparatus.
