On July 15, An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized the awarding of gifts of reading and learning English markers (accompanied by a set of digital technology books) to children of union members and workers (NLĐ) in difficult circumstances.
The Provincial Labor Federation said that these 100 gifts are given to children of union members and workers working in industrial parks, remote and isolated areas, and areas with difficult socio-economic conditions. In which, priority is given to children in special circumstances; children orphaned by father or mother due to labor accidents, serious illnesses, natural disasters, epidemics; children of union members and workers who are Khmer ethnic people.

Coming to receive this meaningful gift, Mr. Danh Danh - union member of Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd. - said that this is a very practical gift for the family, especially for his child who is in 4th grade this year: "I work as a worker, so I don't have enough conditions for my child to study extra English, now having a pen and this set of books to support learning is too happy, too good. To let my child learn more knowledge, keep up with friends".
And Mr. Nguyen Van My - union member of EZ Rach Gia Co., Ltd. - shared: "My child is in 1st grade this year, starting school is still unfamiliar. At home, my child's older brother is in 11th grade and only tutors, but he doesn't always have time. The child with this set of books will learn many good things, which is very convenient, and also reduces the cost of extra classes. I myself am not fluent in English, I can't teach it, and I also don't have the extra conditions to send my child to English classes outside.
Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Do Tran Thinh expressed: "I believe that every child has very beautiful dreams and deserves the opportunity to study, develop and reach their future. Because of that, the Provincial Labor Federation organizes a program to award reading and learning English markers and a set of digital technology books for children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Thinh added that this is not only an activity to respond to the Action Month for Children in 2026 but also the feelings, concern and responsibility of the Trade Union organization towards children - the young sprouts of the family and of An Giang homeland.

We understand that to raise our children to be good people, many union members and workers have to work very hard every day. The Trade Union organization always appreciates those efforts and will continue to accompany union members and workers with more practical activities to care for families, especially children," Mr. Thinh shared.
The Provincial Labor Federation also hopes that parents will spend more time reading books with their children, encouraging their children to use today's gifts effectively, so that every day their children have more joy in studying. Grassroots Trade Unions continue to pay more attention to children of union members and workers, especially children in difficult circumstances; coordinate with businesses and companion units to organize more useful activities so that children can study, play and develop comprehensively.
