About 700,000 workers have jobs
According to statistics, Phu Tho province has nearly 41,000 businesses registered to operate, creating jobs for about 700,000 workers.
In 2025 alone, more than 4,500 new businesses were established, leading to a sharp increase in recruitment demand in the fields of industry, services and commerce.
Recorded at Bo Trai Song Da Industrial Park (Bo Trai Song Da Industrial Park), the production atmosphere is quite vibrant. At many electronics, garment, and mechanical factories, recruitment notices are updated regularly with hundreds of worker and technician positions.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, a garment worker at Bo Trai Song Da Industrial Park shared: "Previously, I worked as a freelancer with unstable income, now I work at a company with a stable salary, insurance and bonuses, so I am very reassured.
Meanwhile, in Luong Son Industrial Park (Luong Son commune), up to now, dozens of domestic and foreign investment projects have been attracted, with a occupancy rate of about 70-80%.
Operating businesses are creating jobs for about 10,000-15,000 workers, mainly local workers and neighboring communes.
The average income of workers in the industrial park is about 7-10 million VND/person/month, depending on the job position and overtime.
Many businesses organize shuttle buses, support housing, meals and fully implement insurance regimes for workers.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial Business Association, the investment and business environment of the province in recent years has had many positive changes, especially in administrative procedure reform and the spirit of companionship of the government.
Many procedures related to investment, land, and construction have been shortened in processing time, helping businesses save costs and quickly implement projects.
Accompanying businesses
Besides the advantages, many businesses in the province still face many difficulties in the process of operation.
Phu Tho province identifies accompanying and supporting businesses as a key task. Dialogue channels between the government and businesses are maintained regularly, creating conditions for businesses to directly reflect difficulties.
At the Q4/2025 business dialogue conference, nearly 300 FDI and DDI enterprises attended, reflecting 58 recommendations related to land, planning, infrastructure and investment procedures. Many contents were directed by provincial leaders to be resolved immediately at the conference.
Regarding land access issues, the province is focusing on reviewing land funds, accelerating the progress of compensation and site clearance, and proactively creating clean land funds to serve investment attraction.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan - Director of Phu Tho Provincial Land Fund Development Center - said that the unit is closely coordinating with departments, branches and localities to remove obstacles in compensation, support, and resettlement, gradually forming land funds ready for investment projects.
In parallel with that, the province continues to invest and expand the infrastructure system to serve industrial development and attract investment.
In 2026, many industrial zones and clusters in the area will be started or put into operation such as: Thinh Minh; Doan Hung; Song Lo I, II; Tam Duong I - area 2; Tam Duong II - area A; Thai Hoa - Lien Son - Lien Hoa (phase 1); Nam Binh Xuyen; Cam Khe; Phu Ninh; Trung Ha II; Phuc Yen; Dong Soc; Thanh Ba...
In addition, inter-regional connecting transport projects are also being promoted such as the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway; Viet Tri - Hoa Binh line; Hanoi - Lao Cai railway parallel line (Vinh Yen - Hac Tri bridge section); bridges over the Lo River, Red River, Da River; Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong high-speed railway line...
