On May 7, the National Defense Trade Union organized the inauguration and handover of the house "Trade Union Home, Comradeship" to union members in difficult circumstances at Farm 726, Company Limited MTV 16.
The working delegation led by Colonel Tran Thi Thu Hien - Deputy Head of the National Defense Trade Union visited, presented gifts and attended the house handover ceremony for the family of Ms. Bui Thi Thin - worker of Production Team 4, Farm 726.
Ms. Thin's family has had housing difficulties for many years. The new house has a usable area of 125m2, built spaciously, suitable for living conditions. The National Defense Trade Union supported 80 million VND for construction.
During the construction process, the Trade Union of Farm 726 mobilized more than 50 working days of officials and union members to support construction, contributing to reducing costs and accelerating progress.
Although the weather was unfavorable at times, the project was still completed on schedule, ensuring quality and safety.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Thi Thu Hien said that the program "Trade Union Home, Comradeship" shows the concern of the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense and trade union organizations for union members and workers in difficult housing circumstances.
According to Colonel Hien, the new house not only helps Ms. Bui Thi Thin's family stabilize their lives and feel secure in their work, but also spreads the spirit of solidarity and mutual affection in the unit.
On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, the National Defense Trade Union also presented gifts to the grassroots Trade Union of Farm 726 and 10 union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
