On July 17, 2025, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor had a plan to organize an online contest "Workers, civil servants, and laborers learn about the Trade Union Law and the Social Insurance Law in 2024", to propagate and encourage union members and laborers to actively participate in the contest.
Implementing the above plan, in order to propagate and encourage union members and workers to actively participate in the contest, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested the Labor Federations of provinces and cities; Central and equivalent industry unions; General Corporation Trade Unions under the General Confederation to inform and disseminate the contest rules, the question set (attached with this document) to the affiliated grassroots unions, union members and workers in forms suitable to the conditions of the unit, creating conditions for union members and workers to access full information, attracting a large number of contestants.
Instruct union members and workers to access the address https://cuocsongantoan.laodongcongdoan.vn or scan the QR code to participate in the Contest. Candidates will participate in all 3 parts of the exam, including knowledge multiple choice, predicting the number of participants and doing a short test, the maximum test time is 45 minutes and each person can only participate in a test once.
Instruct union members to access the Chatbot to support the Contest to receive support for information and knowledge related to the questions and Contest.
The Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that this is a meaningful activity in propagating and disseminating laws directly related to the rights and obligations of workers. The results of the competition are considered one of the criteria for evaluating the competition results in 2025. Therefore, it is recommended that units focus on implementation, ensuring practicality and efficiency.
The contestants are union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers working in enterprises, organizations, and units nationwide. The contest will take place from 0:00 on August 19, 2025 to 0:00 on October 1, 2025.
The exam is designed with 3 parts: Knowledge part; prediction part of the number of contestants and presentation part of thoughts, sharing wishes, feelings, good stories, impressions or problems in implementing the Trade Union Law or the Social Insurance Law (no more than 1,000 words).
The contest is organized in the form of an online contest on the website "Safe Life" (belonging to the electronic magazine Labor and Trade Union) (Institute of Training, fostering cadres and Scientific Research) at: https://cuocsongantoan.laodongcongdoan.vn/.
The contest is expected to be awarded at the end of October 2025 with awards for individuals and groups.
