Ensuring a safe working environment
According to the Director of Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company, occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) is always identified by the unit as a key and regular task to protect the health and lives of employees and maintain stable and efficient production activities.
Periodic training on occupational safety and health is organized for all employees, especially those working in potentially high-risk environments. Fully equip workers with protective gear, gloves, masks, shoes, hats, reflective vests, glasses, etc. for workers.
Periodic health check-ups for employees are held annually, with a participation rate of 100%. The unit also conducts examination, detection and treatment of occupational diseases for workers working directly, in order to prevent and control long-term health risks for workers.
The company's production areas ensure safe and hygienic working conditions. In addition, the Company constantly improves working conditions through investing in new equipment, upgrading the ventilation and cooling system. Fire prevention and fighting work is given special attention.

The Director of Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company shared that the unit had only put the new port No. 3 into operation for 3 months but had basically reached the designed capacity. Meanwhile, normally a port must operate for about 4 to 5 years to reach the designed capacity.
