Ho Chi Minh City - The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and functional sectors had an official working session with Panko Vina Co., Ltd.

On the afternoon of December 29, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and functional sectors had a working session with Panko Vina Co., Ltd. (My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park, Ben Cat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). At the working session, on the side of Panko Vina Co., Ltd., there was Mr. Jung Seung Jun - CEO of the company.

After exchanging and expressing their wishes, the parties reached an agreement and issued a working minutes to implement the next steps.

Notably, representatives of Panko Vina Co., Ltd. gave feedback on the aspirations of workers.

Accordingly, Panko Vina Co., Ltd. is committed to fulfilling obligations related to employees. Regarding the 13th month salary for employees, the company has submitted a plan to the parent company in Korea and is waiting for the decision of the Chairman of the company. The company will have a decision on December 30 and notify employees. In case the parent company decides to pay bonuses, the payment time to employees is in January 2026.

Regarding maternity benefits for female employees, the company ensures that it is resolved for employees to be eligible for maternity benefits.

Employees only work until the end of January 15, 2026, the January 2026 monthly salary will be calculated until the end of January 31, 2026. The latest expected salary payment time is February 5, 2026.

The company will pay the entire annual leave to employees for the number of days they have not rested. In case employees have used the annual leave of the following consecutive years, the company will discard that part of the annual leave.

Regarding severance allowances, they will be paid according to the provisions of law. After January 31, 2026, the company will still arrange office staff to resolve issues related to employee resignation such as: finalizing social insurance books, decision to resign... so that employees can enjoy benefits according to regulations.

On December 29 and 30, workers who stopped working were still kept their salaries by the company.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that Panko Vina Co., Ltd. is very willing to work to resolve the aspirations of workers.

Employees have sympathized and shared about the company's production and business situation. Therefore, it is proposed that the company resolve the regimes for employees so that they can feel secure and stable to continue producing the final orders" - a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation proposed at the working session.

The Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City also requested the company to urgently stabilize the situation of workers, not to let complex issues affect security and order. At the same time, it requested the enterprise to fulfill its commitments so that workers can feel secure in production before ceasing operations.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that on December 23, Panko Vina Co., Ltd. issued a notice about the termination of the company's production and business activities from February 1, 2026. On December 29, workers stopped working to present their wishes to the company. Currently, labor relations here have temporarily stabilized again.
