On the morning of February 25, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) organized research, study, thoroughly grasp and implement Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW on state economic development and Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on Vietnamese cultural development of the Politburo.
The conference was deployed in a live and online connection form nationwide from the main bridge points to the bridge points and broadcast live on the channels of Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam and digital platforms.
At the headquarters bridge point, Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the VGCL chaired the conference.
Attending were comrades: Thai Thu Xuong - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Vice Presidents of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour: Phan Van Anh, Huynh Thanh Xuan, Nguyen Xuan Hung; comrade Vu Anh Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; along with all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, laborers of the advisory boards, Party Committee agencies of the General Confederation and affiliated units including: Labor Publishing House, Trade Union Project Management Board, Hanoi Trade Union Professional and Vocational Secondary School.
At the meeting points of Party committees, Party cells of Lao Dong Newspaper, Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Sciences, General Confederation Guesthouse, Trade Union Tourism Company, Vietnam Trade Union Printing Joint Stock Company, the conference was organized centrally at the unit's hall; online connection via television, radio and digital platforms suitable to actual conditions. All cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the units participated fully and seriously.
At the conference, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and laborers were thoroughly grasped the core contents, new points, and key tasks and solutions of Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW on state economic development and Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on cultural development of Vietnam issued by the Politburo.
Through this, contributing to raising awareness, responsibility and political determination of cadres and party members in concretizing goals and tasks into work programs and plans; organizing the synchronous and effective implementation of resolutions into practical activities. Thereby, continuing to build a strong VGCL organization, meeting the development requirements of the country and the workers' movement in the new period.
