According to the report at the meeting, implementing Directive 55 of the Secretariat, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Government proactively directed the early organization of Binh Ngo Tet 2026 and regularly directed and urged the implementation.
Ministries, central agencies and Party committees and authorities at all levels shall synchronously, comprehensively, and thoughtfully implement the preparation and organization for people to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet, with the spirit of ensuring that every home and everyone can celebrate Tet happily, warmly, safely, and economically.

Concluding the meeting, General Secretary To Lam praised the spirit of responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front, armed forces, and the contingent of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and laborers who have organized and strictly implemented the direction of the Secretariat, ensuring that people celebrate Tet happily, warmly, with affection, security, and safety, creating a good atmosphere to enter the new year.
However, the task ahead is very heavy, the General Secretary requested the entire political system to immediately start working; urgently bring all activities back to normal pace, not to delay work.
Party committees and authorities at all levels must organize serious work right from the beginning of the year, absolutely do not allow the situation of spring trips to be prolonged, neglecting tasks, do not allow the psychology of January as a month of fun to exist in the political system, tighten discipline, administrative discipline, and public service discipline.
Heads of agencies, units, and localities must set an example of saying and doing, create a spirit of urgent and responsible work right from the beginning of the year and be directly responsible if there is a situation of stagnation and slow resolution of people's and businesses' work.
Specifically in the first quarter of 2026, the General Secretary requested to complete the dissemination and implementation of building and supplementing the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress throughout the Party; successfully organize the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term on March 15; besides, complete the work and contents to successfully organize the 2nd Conference of the 14th Party Central Committee and complete the contents of the program to successfully organize the first session of the 16th National Assembly.
The General Secretary emphasized that it is necessary to promote the implementation of socio-economic targets, focus on removing difficulties for production and business, promote public investment, disburse public investment capital, unlock growth resources, firmly grasp the situation of the labor market and employment after Tet, promptly handle arising issues, strive and exceed targets right from the beginning of the month and the beginning of the quarter of 2026.
On this occasion, the General Secretary also requested to strengthen information and propaganda work, thereby maintaining and promoting the joyful atmosphere in the whole society, the belief in the people, to be determined to successfully complete the goals and tasks of 2026.
