More than 50 booths providing essential goods
Tonight (June 5), the Mobile Workers Fair 2026 with a scale of about 50 booths will officially open at the Ori Garden Social Housing Area (Hai Van ward, Da Nang city).
The market focuses on providing essential services, selling goods at uniform prices, and discounting essential goods for union members and workers. Booths start selling from 6 pm before the opening ceremony at 7 pm takes place.
To support workers in shopping, the City Labor Federation issued 20,000 shopping vouchers with a total value of 2 billion VND (100,000 VND/voucher).
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation presented 20 gifts (1 million VND/gift) to union members in difficult circumstances under the support package of 1,000 gifts in Workers' Month.
At the same time, 20 other gifts were also given to children of workers overcoming difficulties on the occasion of the Action Month for Children in 2026. On the evening of June 6, a music night serving workers and a lucky draw program will take place at the market stage.
On the afternoon of June 6, about 200 grassroots trade union officials and the occupational safety and health network will participate in a training session on stroke prevention, equipping first aid skills and how to build a healthy lifestyle at work.
bridge point responding to the national emulation launching ceremony
On June 7, Da Nang City is one of the main bridge points to continue the program of the Launching Ceremony of the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" chaired by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. More than 500 officials, union members and city workers will attend this event.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and leaders of Da Nang City will directly visit and give gifts to workers who suffered from labor accidents and critical illnesses at self-managed worker groups in Hai Van ward.
At 8 am on June 7, the 2026 Excellent Worker Skills Contest in the electronics industry will officially open with the competition of 116 skilled workers.
Contestants will take the theory test at the Ori Garden Social Housing Area, then enter the practical electronic welding part according to circuit boards (90 minutes) at the Hai Van Ward Party Committee Hall. The organizers will award 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 5 consolation prizes and close at 7 pm on the same day.
