Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Ha, Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, said: On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024, the Da Nang City Labor Federation requested that all levels of affiliated Trade Unions strengthen the organization of activities to take care of children of union members and workers in a safe, economical and practical manner.
Accordingly, the Trade Union at all levels focuses on the following activities: Visiting and giving gifts to families and children of union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances; rewarding children of union members and workers with excellent academic achievements and overcoming difficulties to study well.
Along with that, organizing Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children of union members and workers is not ostentatious or formal.
With the motto "Safe, economical and practical", the Da Nang City Labor Federation decided to stop organizing the "Full Moon Festival Night" program at the city level during this Mid-Autumn Festival to share with the people in the North who have suffered many losses due to storms and floods in the past few days.
At the same time, 2,430 gifts with a total cost of more than 800 million VND and gifts from sponsoring units were allocated to local Trade Unions to give gifts to children of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances.
