On the morning of December 15, the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, officially opened.
Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province.

This is the first congress of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union after perfecting the organization, in line with the requirements of restructuring the apparatus and innovating the method of trade union activities in the current period.
The Congress took place with the theme: innovating trade union methods; focusing on performing well the task of representing and protecting the rights of workers; participating in building a modern and strong working class, contributing to realizing the goal of building Khanh Hoa province into a centrally-run city.

During the 2025-2030 term, Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor determined to continue to comprehensively innovate trade union organization and activities; improve the quality and effectiveness of representation, care for, and protection of the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
The focus is on innovating the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective manner; building, training, and fostering a team of capable and qualified union officials to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation; focusing on developing union members and building a strong union organization.
Along with that, Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union will promote innovation in propaganda work in a flexible and creative direction, effectively promoting information and communication technology platforms, contributing to spreading the spirit and content of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

By the end of the term, Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor has set many specific targets: actual development to increase at least 40,000 union members; strive for 100% of enterprises employing 20 or more employees to establish trade unions; continue to mobilize the establishment of grassroots trade unions in enterprises with 10 or more employees.
Strive to have at least 85% of enterprises and units with trade unions qualified to represent, negotiate, and sign collective labor agreements according to regulations; on average, each grassroots trade union will introduce at least 1 outstanding union member for the Party to consider, train and admit.
In particular, Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor aims to have at least 90% of union members' labor disputes that need to be resolved in court have union representatives participating or supported by the union by the end of the term.

One of the breakthroughs is identified as the application and promotion of comprehensive digital transformation in the entire provincial Trade Union system. Accordingly, strive for 100% of full-time union officials to proficiently use application software in the system of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Fatherland Front; master digital platforms, digital services, social networks and effectively apply artificial intelligence tools to serve their work.
Along with that, 100% of grassroots trade unions will change the way of managing and organizing activities in the digital environment; develop and implement inspection and supervision plans, focusing on trade union financial and asset work.
Through the congress, Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union hopes to create a strong change in organization and methods of operation, enhance the role of representation, care for and protect the rights of union members and workers; strengthen dialogue and collective bargaining, focus on core issues such as wages, bonuses, working hours, rest hours and occupational safety and hygiene.
