Ms. Thai Thi Mai - Head of the Son La Trade Union Working Committee said that in order to reorganize and streamline the apparatus, the Son La Provincial Federation of Labor was reorganized and streamlined into a committee under the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee called the Trade Union Working Committee.
The personnel has also been reduced from 33 officers and employees to 12 people. Currently, the Son La Trade Union Working Group is managing 184 trade union organizations with 12,486 union members.
According to Head of the Son La Trade Union Working Committee Thai Thi Mai, the arrangement, streamlining of the apparatus and reassignment of trade union officials in Son La are carried out flexibly. The reasonable transfer and appointment is based on capacity and strengths.
The resources saved from streamlining the apparatus are being reinvested in grassroots activities. Focus on supporting union members and workers in difficult circumstances, while improving the quality of dialogue, collective bargaining, organizing emulation movements for production labor, and taking care of workers' social security.
After completing the restructuring of the apparatus, the activities of Son La Trade Union continued to be effectively implemented, using the grassroots trade union as the main area of activity and using the needs and interests of union members and employees as the basis for developing the program and action plan.
