In mid-November, in many industrial parks in the area, the production period lasts from early morning to late afternoon, showing that investment in this area is constantly increasing in both scale and quality.
According to the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Phu Tho province, the whole province currently has 58 IPs with approved planning of more than 14,055 hectares; of which 28 IPs have been established and 17 IPs have come into operation.
In many industrial parks such as Thang Long Vinh Phuc, Khai Quang, Ba Thien II, Binh Xuyen, Phu Ha, Trung Ha, Luong Son, Yen Quang..., the occupancy rate remains high. In Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park (Binh Nguyen Commune), the number of container trucks entering and leaving each day clearly reflects the expansion speed of FDI projects.
As of October 15, 2025, the province has 825 valid secondary projects, including 317 domestic projects with more than 59,000 billion VND and 508 FDI projects with more than 10 billion USD. In the first 10 months of 2025, newly granted and adjusted FDI capital reached more than 860 million USD, equal to6% of the annual plan. FDI enterprises recorded revenue of more than 15.8 billion USD, export turnover of over 25 billion USD; contributed more than 7,200 billion VND to the budget, all increased over the same period.
The expansion of industrial parks leads to a great demand for technical labor, especially the group capable of automatic equipment operation, quality control and production management. Awards at factories show that many businesses are ready to recruit students for the final year if they meet basic skills.
In that context, linking vocational schools and businesses becomes an inevitable direction. In mid-November 2025, CNCTech Group Joint Stock Company (Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park, Binh Nguyen Commune, Phu Tho Province) signed a cooperation agreement with the Agricultural Mechanical College, established a Practice Center at the enterprise, and ordered 200 technical human resources for 2026 and implemented a training program for the period 2025 - 2030.
The cooperation model between vocational schools and enterprises is being widely deployed. According to Mr. Ta Phuc Loi - Vice Principal of Vinh Phuc College of Technology and Technology, over the past 5 years, the school has signed cooperation agreements with nearly 100 enterprises, including many large corporations such as Honda, Toyota, Samsung, Foxconn, Yazaki... Students are allowed to practice 500 - 600 hours at the enterprise, equivalent to 20% of the course duration.
"Each student when entering the line is assigned specific tasks, works by shift, is supervised and receives a salary of 4 - 5 million VND/month. This is also a reserve labor source for businesses after graduation, said Mr. Loi.
Thanks to the practical training model, the school's annual graduation rate reached over 85%; more than 89% of students had immediate jobs; the high-quality vocational training group achieved 100% of jobs in the right field, with an income of 7 - 10 million VND/month in the initial stage. This reality shows that vocational training associated with market demand both improves the quality of human resources and reduces recruitment and retraining costs for businesses.
In addition to training facilities and enterprises, the Trade Union organization also plays an important role in connecting labor supply and demand.
Mr. Tong Duc Chien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor, Director of the Workers' Consulting and Support Center - informed: "After the merger, the labor market has changed dramatically in terms of structure and recruitment demand.
The trade union grasps the needs of businesses, provides career counseling and coordinates with vocational schools to adjust training programs to closely follow reality, considering improving the quality of human resources as a key task to ensure sustainable jobs for workers".
