On November 11, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Khanh Hoa province - said that the whole province currently has nearly 1.9 million people, of which the labor force aged 15 and over is more than 1 million people, accounting for 53.7%.
Each year, the province has about 15,000 - 20,000 people of working age. This is an abundant human resource, contributing to meeting the needs of local socio-economic development.
The rate of trained workers reached more than 80%, of which 32% had degrees and certificates. Every year, there are about 2,000 newly established enterprises in the province. Currently, Khanh Hoa has nearly 15,000 enterprises and more than 96,000 individual economic establishments in operation, employing about 350,000 workers.
The increase in the number of enterprises and production and business establishments has also led to an increase in the demand for labor recruitment.
From the beginning of 2025 to now, more than 3,400 enterprises have registered to recruit through the Provincial Employment Service Center with a total demand of more than 34,000 workers.
At the same time, there are more than 22,800 people looking for jobs, of which 54.5% are unskilled workers, 36.5% have a college or university degree or higher.
